Edward "E.E." Keenan

With a lifelong passion for employee rights, E.E. Keenan searches for innovative legal strategies that will bring victory for employees and the organizations that fight for them.

E.E. (the initials stand for Edward Emmett) graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School.  At Harvard Law, E.E. served as President of the worker-focused Labor and Employment Action Project, and shared a "Best Negotiators" award for moot collective bargaining negotiation on behalf of a union.

Following law school, E.E. clerked for the Honorable Duane Benton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.  Active in politics and community activities, E.E. co-chairs a committee for the Rotary Club.

E.E. is admitted to practice in New York, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, Western District of Missouri, and District of Kansas.

Sonal Bhatia

Sonal Bhatia cut her teeth on AFL-CIO backed campaigns in Indiana.  She brings a sharp business mind and a passion for justice.  

Born in the Detroit area, Sonal grew up in West Lafayette, Indiana.  She earned her bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College, and law degree from Washington University in St. Louis.  At Wash U, she taught an undergraduate course and litigated on behalf of domestic violence victims.  Sonal also continues to do extensive research and writing on issues involving the law, race, and gender.  

Sonal's diverse career gives her a realistic, boots-on-the-ground view.  She brings not only a legal background, but also a history of business success at a major software company and grassroots political organizing.  Sonal looks forward to using her experience to help in the firm's fight for working people.  She is admitted to practice in New Mexico and Missouri.
